5Love these thingsJul 15, 2010
I had used some before on the HDTV and finally decided to tag both ends of all connecting wires to the three desk top and two laptop computers and all our hand held devices (cell phone cables, gps cables, electric razors, etc). The only minor fault with these tags is that you cannot erase them so you need to write clearly.

2OK, but not worth the priceMar 14, 2010
I bought some of these at a local retailer and while the concept is not bad, I find them a bit bulky and not as user-friendly as I hoped they'd be. I used a Sharpie pen and it still smudges and comes off too easily. In my opinion, they're not really worth the price.

5Maybe the Best on the Current MarketFeb 27, 2010
These are the best cable tags I have found that are easily available. They are very sturdy, they enable you to write a description on them, they easily thread through themselves for attachment, and they can be removed when desired. These are better, in my opinion, than the colored ones such as Best Buy and Amazon.com sell unless you can remember which colors you used for which functions six months or a year later when you need to change or add something.

There was a negative comment in the reviews about shipping cost but what may be missing from that comment is you can purchase three of these strips of ten for that same shipping cost. And you probably need more than ten labels - you want one on each end of the cable and one in the middle for longer cable runs, especially runs on their way to a multiple printer/scanner stand. That means each strip of ten labels can do 3 to 5 cables. For computers, what with ethernet, several USB cables which are especially useful to identify at your built-in computer hub and external hubs where several come so close together, video cables if you have multiple monitors, eSATA cables, and identifying power cables on your power strip, one strip of ten of these labels probably isn't enough. And for entertainment centers you probably have several coaxial cables, power cords, and audio/visual interfaces (HDMI, composite, component, RCA, S-video, etc.). So think about how many labels you could use, add 20% for growth or for things you forgot, and you'll see that the shipping cost becomes less of an issue.

5ID that plugSep 15, 2009
These flags (tags) work great for tagging (identify) everything from the plugs in a power strip to the IDing of charger cords. They are removable and reuseable so you can use them more than once. You can use pencil or pen for the lettering. When you have to unplug something, no more guessing or 'line following'. Plugs in a power strip are now easy to ID and so are various device charger cords

4Good Organizer, A Bit PriceyJan 03, 2009
These blank labels are excellent for specifying the particular name of the device to which they are attached; they can be personalized for a variety of electronic wire/cable identification needs. One caution when marking them: to prevent smearing of whatever is written on the label, make sure the ink is dry before wrapping them around the cable/cord/wire. These labels are large enough to write the name of the device to which they are attached, and they can be positioned anywhere on the entire length of the cord/cable to make it easier to identify the device. Since the labels can only be used once, there should be more than 10 included for the price or there should be some way to change the marking on the label. The shipping price is much too costly for standard shipping of such a small item.
