I felt forced to purchase thisAug 29, 2010 I am frustrated that my perfectly serviceable logitech controller doesn't work properly with 'Games for Windows' without messing around with drivers and separate applications. Its a completely artificial restriction imposed by a greedy company. I bought Batman: Arkham Asylum and wanted to use my trusty Logitech Controller, but found that forwards and backwards had been swapped and nothing I tried would allow me to make it work outside of unofficial, unsigned drivers. I'm not sure who to blame, Microsoft for pushing developers into doing this sort of thing and breaking other controllers, or Logitech for failing to update their software/drivers.
Its these sorts of things - forcing me to buy some sort of proprietary hardware or waste time making things work -that make me dislike companies like Microsoft.
And yes, the product works fine. Is it fair for me to give it a lower rating? Yes, I believe it is. How many of you have PC gamepads that already work perfectly fine that were rendered useless? I'm rating based on the frustration caused and time wasted getting my other gamepads to work and my feeling of failure for having succumbed to buying this completely unnecessary accessory. FU M$
Great controllerAug 29, 2010 I have been playing Transformers:War for cybertron using this controller and it is amazing.
The control is very responsive and the games I tested the controller detected it with no problem.
If you are looking for a controller to use in your pc, buy this one. It worths every penny.
Best controller for a PCAug 27, 2010 You can not go wrong with this if you like using a controller to play games.
Great productAug 21, 2010 I'm very happy with my X-Box 360 pc controller. It had an annoying squeaking sound when I first got it but after I broke it in it was good. Perfect for most pc games and I strongly recommend.
One of the best controllerAug 05, 2010 Very comfortable while playing games
Buttons have good sensitivity
Can be used on Xbox
Only problem is the location of the direction button, need some time to adjust.
